Access Bank denies any affiliation with Access Capital Investment

Access Bank plc said it has no relationship with an investment research platform, Access Capital Investment Platform, promising huge returns on investment.

The Tier 1 bank made this known in a disclosure filed with the Nigerian Stock Exchange and signed by Sunday Ekwochi, the company secretary.

Access Bank also stressed that neither the bank nor its subsidiaries will be held responsible for any future loss or damage that investors may face.

What Access Bank says

The bank noted: “The management of Access Bank Plc and its subsidiaries wish to inform the public that our attention has been drawn to an online investment entity known and described as the “Access Capital Investment Platform” which has solicited members of the public to invest. in its Access Capital Investment products that promise attractive returns on investment.

By this disclaimer, Access Bank Plc wishes to dissociate itself, as well as its affiliates, subsidiaries and / or agents, from the activities, contracts, claims or commercial commitments of Access Capital Investment Platform.

“Access Capital Investment Platform is not an affiliate or a subsidiary of Access Bank Plc and it would be at the risk of anyone who invests in any of the packages / products of Access Capital Investment as Access Bank Plc would not be liable loss, damage, reimbursement whatever that may result.

He also added that relevant law enforcement and regulatory agencies have been made aware of this disclaimer.
