We are not affiliated with Access Capital Investment Platform, says Access Bank

Access Bank Plc declares that it has no business involvement or affiliation with Access Capital Investment Platform, a online investment entity.

Sunday Ekwochi, Corporate Secretary of Access Bank, disclosed this on Wednesday in a company filing on the Nigeria Exchange (NGX).

Access Bank said it informed law enforcement and regulatory agencies of the development.

“The management of Access Bank Plc and its subsidiaries would like to inform the public that our attention has been drawn to an online investment entity known and described as ‘Access Capital Investment Platform’ which has solicited members of the public to invest in its Access Capital investment products promising mouth-watering returns,” the statement read.

“By this disclaimer, Access Bank Plc wishes to disassociate itself, its affiliates, subsidiaries and/or agents from the activities, contracts, claims or business undertakings of Access Capital Investment Platform.

“Access Capital Investment Platform is neither an affiliate nor a subsidiary of Access Bank Plc and would be at the risk of anyone investing in any of the Access Capital Investment packages/products as Access Bank Plc would not be liable for any loss, damage, reimbursement of anything that may arise therefrom.

“Affected law enforcement and regulatory agencies have been notified of this disclaimer.”
